We are a farmhouse restaurant, called Tsukiya. Our specialty is making local cuisine! Discover and savour black soy bean tofu and our very own Ukiuki dumplings.
The “tsuki” of Tsukiya means “to pound” (as in pound rice cakes). If you would like to experience rice cake making with a pound and mortar, please let us know! (Rice cake making is for the early bird!)
All year long: cooking seasonal local cuisine
Late May: harvesting chamomile
June to July: planting cucumber seeds, harvesting cucumbers and tomatoes
July to October: planting black soy bean seedlings, harvesting
We also offer craft activities and cooking lessons (on how to make miso)! Activities will vary depending on the season.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
